Expanding Access to Quality Early Childhood Education: New Classrooms Inaugurated at Abado Pre-Primary School

We are proud to announce the successful inauguration of a new four-classroom building at Abado Pre-Primary School, marking another important step toward expanding access to quality early childhood education. This achievement was made possible through the strong partnership between ECD-CIC Meneshaye (ISRP) and the Abado School Community. Built on a shared commitment to improving learning opportunities for young children, the project was financed through a collaborative contribution, with ECD-CIC Meneshaye (ISRP) covering 75% of the construction cost and the school community contributing the remaining 25%. This partnership demonstrates how collective investment and community ownership can create safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environments where children can thrive. At the Ethiopian Center for Development, we remain committed to strengthening early childhood development by investing in quality learning spaces, fostering meaningful partnerships, and supporting communities to build a stronger foundation for lifelong learning.
