ECD Joins Global Leaders for the Launch of UNFPA's Demographic Futures Survey

The Ethiopian Center for Development (ECD) was proud to be represented at the global launch of UNFPA's Demographic Futures Survey (DFS) that took place in Newyork . The Demographic Futures Survey is one of the largest global studies exploring young people's aspirations and the factors shaping their decisions about their futures. Covering 73 countries, the survey examines how economic security, employment, education, housing, gender equality, and women's roles within the household influence young people's opportunities, choices, and their aspirations for family life. The findings provide valuable evidence to inform policies and investments that respond to the realities and aspirations of young people. ECD is honored to have contributed to this important global dialogue.
